Dr. Tatum received her medical degree in 1995 from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, after completing her undergraduate degree in Biophysics and Biochemistry at Northwestern in 1991. After finishing her residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at Northwestern University, she completed her fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Tatum is board certified in Allergy and Immunology and in Internal Medicine. After practicing allergy in the Chicago area, she moved back to the Pacific Northwest, where she had grown up, and joined Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center in 2001. She works in our Renton and Seattle offices caring for both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Tatum holds a clinical faculty position in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington and pursues her research interests as a member of the board at ASTHMA, Inc. Clinical Research Center in Seattle. She lives on the Eastside with her husband and two young sons. Her outside interests include art history, boating, and volunteer work in her sons’ schools.
