Michael S. Kennedy, MD

Dr. Kennedy received his medical degree at the University of New Mexico in 1974. He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Washington with a 3-year fellowship in clinical pharmacology at the University of California at San Francisco. After a 5-year term as Head of Clinical Pharmacology at Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Dr. Kennedy did his fellowship in allergy and immunology in 1986. He received his Board Certification in Allergy and Immunology in 1986. After 8 years of private practice in allergy and internal medicine, he joined Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center in 1993. He is active at the University of Washington as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine. Dr. Kennedy teaches Residents and Fellows from UW as well as Swedish Hospital at our clinics. Dr. Kennedy is the Past President of the Puget Sound Allergy Society and Washington State Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society. Dr. Kennedy is an avid golfer and a skiing medical advisor at Steven’s Pass. He and his family participate in these activities whenever possible.
