Duane is a Certified Physician Assistant through the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. He completed his national boards in surgery as well as general practice prior to completion of the program in 1999. He has had experience as a PA-C practicing in geriatrics and rehabilitative medicine prior to starting with Northwest Asthma & Allergy in 2000.
Duane is a Viet Nam era veteran trained in data operations and management. He received his RN from Yakima Valley Community College and a critical care residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
His outside interests are oriented around his close family, including eight grandchildren and their parents. When possible, he spends time fishing, motorcycling and working in the yard.
Duane sees patients at the Richland and Yakima offices and occasionally in Western Washington.
