Dr. Jaspreet K. Dhami is a board-certified internist specializing in adult and pediatric Allergy and Immunology. She is local to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and grew up in Kent, Washington. She is a proud University of Washington alum and is excited to provide compassionate care to the community where she grew up. Following medical school, Dr. Dhami completed her Internal Medicine training at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. During her final year of residency, she was elected to become a chief resident by her peers. Following residency, Dr. Dhami returned to Seattle to work as an academic hospitalist at Virginia Mason Medical Center. She then completed an Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the UCLA/VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare program in Los Angeles, California. During her fellowship, Dr. Dhami co-wrote a textbook chapter on vaccinations, completed research on prolonged maintenance interval of subcutaneous immunotherapy in allergic rhinitis, and presented at local and national conferences.
Dr. Dhami was initially drawn to the field of Allergy and Immunology because of her niece, who has multiple food allergies and asthma. She understands the toll food allergies and allergic disorders take on patients and their families. Dr. Dhami takes pride in being an advocate for her patients and focuses on practicing evidence-based medicine with shared decision-making.
In her free time, Dr. Dhami enjoys being active, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Starting in late October, Dr. Dhami will see adult and pediatric patients at our Renton and Issaquah offices.
