Lisa Drinkwater, PA-C


Lisa was born and raised in Washington state.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 1994.  Then she attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where she earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with Honors in 1997.  

Lisa spent her first six years as a Physician Assistant caring for patients of all ages in a family practice in Renton. In 2004, she moved with her family to Ferndale and began focusing her practice on the specialty of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. For 15 years, she worked in Bellingham caring for patients as well as serving as a clinical sub-investigator on numerous clinical trials.

Since 1998, Lisa has maintained Board Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI);  American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA); and the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA). She is also a past Regional Director of WAPA.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenagers and supporting them in their various musical and other endeavors, as well as fishing, gardening, skiing, and raising sheep.

Lisa sees new and return patients in our Mt. Vernon clinic.
