Dr. Petroni holds both a medical degree and Ph.D. in pharmacology from Tulane University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of California Davis Medical Center, followed by an Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Washington. He has a special interest in patients with food & drug allergy, immunodeficiency, and hereditary angioedema.

Dr. Petroni is deeply involved in clinical and basic allergy research and is Executive Director of the Seattle Allergy & Asthma Research Institute (previously ASTHMA Clinical Research Center) and the Northwest Food Allergy Treatment & Research Center (NWFAC). He is the primary investigator on numerous research studies, including studies on asthma, urticaria, origins, and etiology of food allergy, and new food immunotherapies.  

Dr. Petroni sees patients in our Seattle office.
